Remarks & Notes
The Great Salt Lake... one of the most beautiful photo places I have visited in my life. At dusk, you can sometimes see two trains following one that's already on the dam. When I first saw the lights of some trains, it took them almost an hour to get to where I was standing. To my luck, a long mixed freight crossed the dam just before sunset, hence I got a few very decent shots. To the bottom left is a mine switcher.

Good Light, Good Scenery, and a Train

Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
