Remarks & Notes

An extremely wet spring made for a very green early summer on Mullan Pass. The cattle in the foreground are enjoying an early summer feast of soggy grass. Meanwhile, 4490 lifts a heavy lumber laden eastbound up the grade at Blossburg. The train is 3x1 and is down to walking speed.
