| Roughly nine months after Cyprus Northshore Mining brought the former Reserve Mining property back from the dead two SDs still retain their Reserve colors and lettering. Of note is SD9 1225, the last of that model to be built (6/59). In the distance is a former Conrail (NYC) geep that will become Soo Line GP15C 4105. Generation II (a subsidiary of large Caterpillar dealer Ziegler) had leased the former Reserve Mining shops during the period when the iron mining operation was shut down and in bankruptcy. |
