Remarks & Notes
Sunrise and a new lease on life for these vintage (1965/66) diesel locomotives, originally designed & built by General Electric as model GE U20C. Ex SAR (South African Railway) / Transnet Freight Rail Class 33 Diesels now in the livery of cdn - Corredor de Desenvolvimento do Norte. Corredor de Desenvolvimento do Norte operates out of the Port of Ncala - Mozambique's most northern port. It is believed that 7 of these old locomotives are heading for Mozambique - 112 / 111 & 107 (pictured here) in Durban (Maydon Wharf) awaiting the arrival of a ship to take them on to Mozambique.
