The E233 series of JR East is a commuter and suburban electric multiple unit (EMU) for 1500 V DC and 120 km/h, built from 1996. More then 2500 cars are built till now and they are running in several configurations and variants. The E233-3000 for outer-suburban service run on the Tokaido mainline between Tokyo and Atami and on the Takasaki Line and Utsunomiya Line services from Ueno in Tokyo in 5- and 10-car sets coupled together. # D06 is a Takasaki 5-car set in service since 2012, passing Uguisudani station in Tokyo.
