Remarks & Notes
Great hall of the Tokyo station, built in 1914. The Tokyo Station complex was undergoing extensive development, which include major improvements to the Marunouchi (west) and Yaesu (east) sides of the station in the past years, which was completed in October 2012. The historic 99-year-old Marunouchi side of the station was restored to pre-war condition. Tokyo station is the busiest station in Japan in terms of number of trains per day (over 3,000) and is the starting point and terminus for most of Japan's Shinkansen high-speed rail lines.
