My take (re: Reed Skyllingstad's photo) of another BNSF train detouring down UP's Natron Cut-off. A semaphore-like old snag stands sentinel near the USFS fire lookout tower on the 5820' summit of Orr Mountain, CA. At 6:00pm, and 1400' below the snag, the train was setting up for a soon to occur meet with a northbound Union Pacific manifest.
