Revenue Freight. Strasburg, Pennsylvania isn't the only place in the US where a steam engine occasionally handles real, revenue freight. In this case, the Black River & Western's Great Western Consolidation #60 picks up a couple of modern, revenue freight cars at the NS Interchange in Three Bridges, NJ. On this occasion, the 60 was dressed up in her Great Western livery for a photo charter operated by Lerro Productions. Before the actual charter kicked off, patrons were treated to an extended switching session in which these cars were retrieved and eventually tacked on to the end of the photo train. They were dropped, of course, for the photo run-bys. The tank was eventually set out in Flemington, and the flat was brought back to the BRW's home base in Ringoes.
