| Remarks & Notes |
A Little Giant Model 64R Trakrane sits in Thrall Siding with a bad order tag attached. The bad order tag states that the equipment shouldn't be moved until repaired. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, but the sunny weather made it a great subject. It has been sitting on Thorp Siding since December of 2012.
This 25-ton crane is fitted with a 250 horsepower Cummins engine that produces 675lb/feet of torque. On outriggers, the 30' boom can support up to 50,000 pounds. Maximum speed is 70 mph on road and 40 mph on rail. |
