Remarks & Notes |
One of B&O's freshly painted F7's finds itself working the South Branch in West Virginia. Unlike Chase's "staged" scenes, this image dates back much further, to 2010 taken during a staged scene by Pete Lerro. Regardless - there's no denying on either day that the Potomac eagle was not in fact pulling a revenue train. Not sure if the B&O used F7's to haul freight on the South Branch, but they did use F7's and they did use the South Branch line and standing there watching a B&O F7 hauling freight was no different at moments like this then had it been decades earlier. |
