| The northern end of the San Joaquin Valley is alive as UP's Tidewater Local passes by one of the many orchards of blossoming almond trees and bee boxes full of bees pollinating them on a beautiful late winter morning, seen here on March 10, 2013. The smell of the blossoms and the sounds of the bees buzzing above was an experience I will never forget during this once a year spectacle that mother nature puts on in this part of the valley. This photo is in the July 2013 Trains Magazine, Page 74(Gallery Section). |
