| Westbound CSX No. 377 passes the westward signal at Carothers, just east of Paw Paw, WV on a steamy day in the Potomac River Valley. This area suffered a particularly bad bout with the Gypsy Moth in 1987 and the damage is evident on the trees in the background. Fortunately, the damage wasn't permanent and the forest is healthy today. |
