Remarks & Notes

Storming out of Duplainville, Wisconsin, after making a pick up, Wisconsin Central train No. 47 hurries by near sunset on August 5, 1995. WC No. 2557 is a former Chicago and North Western locomotive, acquired through the WC’s Fox River Valley Railroad merger. Trailing the freshly painted GP35 in the all-EMD consist is a SDL39, two GP40s and another GP35.
