Remarks & Notes
On one of her early public excursions after restoration in 1982, N&W 611 stands at Bluefield, West Virginia before departing with a round trip to Iaeger, on the Pocahontas Division main line. The roller bearing light weight rods, alligator crosshead, and Tuscan red running board skirt are trademarks of the well known locomotive. Hopefully, she'll be back in service before too long.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
