| By 2008 most of the remaining U-boats still roaming the LS&I had began to look pretty tired. This shot of 3008 leading a similarly faded sister with 60 loads on the 7 yard at Empire Junction typified the time period. Over the years the slag pile behind the units had grown tremendously. |
