Remarks & Notes

Before the SP and UP merged in 1996, Union Pacific's California Bay Area traffic was routed via the WP through Salt Lake City. A hot Oakland to North Platte Z-train approaches a crew change at North Yard prior to resuming its journey north to Ogden then east to North Platte.
