| The Amtrak Phase III heritage is the sole power on this EB Lake Shore Limited (Boston Section) after the lead unit was dropped in Buffalo earlier in the day to assist the Maple Leaf. In spite of delays, dropping an engine and the longer Lake Shore running with only one engine west of Albany, 448 was running only about 5 minutes late as it races the shadows on approach to the junction with the CSX Berkshire Sub about 1 mile ahead. |
