| Jinty no. 47324 masquerading as long-gone Bury shed resident no. 47584 is seen in the snow on 26th January 2013 working a Heywood to Rawtenstall service at Burrs on the East Lancashire Railway. Snow causes lots of problems for a heritage railway, run almost entirely by volunteers. The trains were running a little late, but the team produced a tremendous effort to get platform, car parks, crossings etc. clear of snow so that passengers could still come and enjoy their ride in safety. |
