Frigid temperatures have had a strong grip on the northeast for the past two days. However, this was one of the first days the sun had been out in full force in awhile and I couldn't resist the urge to brave the cold and take advantage of what seems like a a rare opportunity lately. Empire Service train 284 rolls around the curve in Amsterdam, NY as it prepares to stop on track 2 to service the station.
