Remarks & Notes

Former McCloud River Railroad #18 blasts out of Tunnel #2 on the restored section of the Virginia and Truckee Railroad. This tunnel originally completed in 1869 when the line opened, was dynamited shut in 1970. It was re-opened by the State of Nevada's V&T Commission in 2005 and now is used by the tourist trains of the restored V&T.
