On President's Day 2001, Union Pacific's Midvale Tramp local meets a Utah Railway GP38-2 on the Bingham Industrial Lead wye at Midvale. The UP 2575 is a leased and rebuilt GP38-2 from Helm Financial, receiving its UP paint and number in Oct. 1998. It was originally built the D&RGW GP40 #3053 by EMD in Jan. 1966. By July 2009 when the lease was up, the reporting mark and number were changed to the HLCX 1074.
