Apache Railway C424 #99 starts its train at Snowflake Junction. The units had just run down the Snowflake Branch to move stored cars, and then recoupled to the northbound train. Of course, as the train was started on the grade, the MLW emitted a characteristic cloud of smoke for the waiting railfans.
