Historic railcar BDeh 4/4 101, built in 1947, descends slowly to Wengen as regular regional train. On days with a high operating grade, the WAB railway company fall back on this railcar and even freight locomotives to haul their trains.
In the background you can see the north face and the west flank of the famous Mt. Eiger (3'970m / 13'025 ft).
