CNW Butler -Green Bay train BUGBA waits to get in the big yard at North Green Bay. It had been a pretty miserable day for photos as I had only managed an early morning shot at Escanaba and then I'd suffered thru a lot of clouds and rain before the sun broke thru for a few evening shots around Green Bay. Power on this job was 4319,4332,4313,4133,4415 leading 58 cars. In the late afternoon/early evening trains tended to stack up south of the yard at Green Bay as road freights from Butler and Proviso along with numerous switch jobs all jockeyed for yard space.
This will be photos that were taken north of Green Bay on the C&NW ore lines. Mainly photos of ore trains will be in this album along with some manifest trains and switch jobs that worked the area.
