| Northbound CSX freight Q692 passes by the classic former Clinchfield Railroad scene at the Penland Post Office on a peaceful November evening deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. The Penland post office has been open here since 1934 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. |
