Remarks & Notes
On this photo you can see 3 main locomotives of Soviet Union and modern Russia. From left to right: ChS4T (ЧС4Т), VL80S (ВЛ80С), ChS7 (ЧС7). The ChS4T is an electric mainline AC passenger locomotive. The ChS7 is an electric mainline DC passenger locomotive. Both locomotives made in Czechoslovakia at the V.I. Lenin (Skoda) plant in the city of Plzen, Czech Republic specially for the railways of Soviet Union. And on the center of photo stands VL80S - the most widespread AC freight locomotive in Russia. The initials VL are those of Vladimir Lenin, after whom the class is named. Vyazma station is a combined station of AC/DC. So both locomotives can be serviced on it.
