An early morning snow hit Mid-Michigan Saturday morning, leaving around 1-2 inches of a wet, heavy snow. With flakes still flying, the passengers of the Steam Railroading Institute's North Pole Express enjoy the wintry surroundings as they take a relaxing train ride to the "North Pole" to see Santa. Hopefully next winter, the Pere Marquette 1225 will be running again to haul happy fans again.
