| A Southern Pacific SD45R awaits a call to serve at Rio Grande's Roper Diesel Shop in South Salt Lake. Apparently the 7510 was regarded as the 'ACE' at some point in time. Growing up a young kid, the EMD SD45 was easily my favorite diesel locomotive. My first model train purchase was an Athearn HO scale SD45, painted in Southern Pacific scarlet red and gray livery. |
