In a view from the cab of Montana Rail Link SD70ACe No. 4312, the night gas local of September 21, 2006 cruises up MRL’s scenic Tenth Subdivision. Only a small bit of glow from a western sky is still visible as night settles in over the Flathead River Valley. Trusses of the bridge crossing the Flathead River west of Perma blur by. Next stop—Paradise, to set out cars for the Paradise local.
