| Rite Of Passage. It wouldn't be the holiday season unless the P&W's annual Polar Express runs have begun. Here the first weekend's trip rolls north across the Mumford River in Uxbridge. After a few more miles to Northbridge, they'll change ends and head back to Woonsocket. Besides giving area families a chance to take a nice ride along the Blackstone River, the holiday trains also give those of us who work during the week a chance to catch a few trains on a railroad that is typically quiet on weekends. |
