Remarks & Notes

On November 1, 2012, Amtrak No. 5, the California Zephyr, is seen just moments after leaving Azure, Colorado. A silver signal box at the west end of Azure siding can be seen, and Amtrak is already three curves away. The meandering path of the Colorado River created the same type of route for this section of the Moffat tunnel Subdivision.
