Remarks & Notes
Brand new Dash 9-44CW No. 4314 leads Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight MDENABQ (Denver to Albuquerque manifest) in the siding at Levy, New Mexico, on the afternoon of February 26, 1999. This shiny General Electric locomotive is only days old, having been built in January 1999. The bright “roller blade” trucks are in fresh silver paint, with even a bit of overspray on the still rustless wheels.
