I was able to attend the Last Day of the Pete Lerro Charter over Cumbres Pass on October 23, 2012. The morning consist was a very authentic looking freight. Here the train climbs the 4% approaching Highway 17. There were a lot of very talented photographers booked on the trip and there should be some great images coming to railpicures.net.
