Union Pacific EMD SD90MAC-H No. 8502 leads four other UP GE locomotives with a westbound train out of Tunnel 9 at Walong, California, on famous Tehachapi Loop. Fate was not kind to the 6,000-horsepower 1997-built No. 8502 and its life was short-lived; the locomotive was stored by 2007 and scrapped in 2009.
