Remarks & Notes

The Rio Grande hauled several carloads of pipe for a natural gas pipeline project for Kern River in Utah's Goshen Valley. A pair of GP30s and two GP40s haul the heavy train along the foothills of Warm Springs Mountain in Genola. The cars would be unloaded and transferred to trucks on the passing siding at Elberta.
