Amtrak's eastbound Cardinal has just exited the Alleghany Tunnel, eastbound on the C&O mainline from Hinton to Clifton Forge. This is the highest point elevation on the C&O between Hinton and Clifton Forge, evident in some of the early fall color change in the background.
