Nov. 26, 1978 delivered ideal weather conditions for riding in a nice warm caboose protected from the elements. After making a pickup at Provo Yard, D&RGW 01440 departs town for Roper Yard in South Salt Lake. What kind of a person takes pictures in weather like this? A crazy teenager like me, that's who!
