Rio Grande's Provo Switcher returns home with 12 loads of welded seam pipe retrieved from Geneva's Pipe Mill spur in Vineyard, Utah. The verdant fields of corn and alfalfa are today filled with high density housing for nearby Utah Valley University and a new UTA commuter rail station. Other changes in the present include the realignment of D&RGW's westward main track (now UPRR Track 1) to make room for the new UTA line, the complete demolition of the United State Steel Geneva Works mill, the removal of the D&RGW telecom pole line and lastly, the presence of a long cut of coil steel cradle cars parked in UP's Lakota Junction yard.
