| Amtrak 5 speeds across the flats near Kremmling into the afternoon sun. In just a few miles the scenery will change dramatically as the California Zephyr enters the dramatic Gore Canyon, with its steep walls carved by the Colorado River. The colors of fall are just beginning to appear in the mountains on this early September day. |
