| Vermont Rail System's southbound Newport to White River Junction, Vermont train NPWJ is seen rolling through Pompanoosuc and along the Connecticut River with the CLP GP40-2 306 leading VTR (ex-SP) GP40-2 307 and the MMA B39-8E 8592. The MMA unit is on its way for weekend display at the 20th Anniversary Glory Days of the Railroad Festival in White River Junction - schedule for 9-4 on Saturday (along with the B&M heritage GP9 77, Amtrak's Phase I Heritage P42 156 rolling by on the southbound Vermonter, plenty of VRS and NECR motive power and rides pulled by the vintage ex-Rutland Alco RS-1 - GMRC 405). |
