Idling in the Bluefield Yard under dreary conditions, NS' original Norfolk Southern heritage ES44AC awaits its next assignment out of the large Bluefield terminal. On this Labor Day weekend, there was no shortage of power at the Bluefield Yard, including nearly two dozen locomotives, two of which representing the heritage of Norfolk Southern.
