Remarks & Notes

The Monongahela heritage unit has just completed its climb of Richmondville Hill, one of 3 obstacles between Mechanicville and Binghamton, as it rolls south thru Otsego County with racks and stacks for Buffalo and Chicago. This was the first heritage unit to visit the D&H but was followed the next day by the NKP on a NB loaded coal.
