Remarks & Notes
The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society's Nickel Plate Lima-built Berkshire 2-8-4 finished up its sting crossing Rockville Bridge out of Enola Yard this weekend and headed back west toward 'home' on Monday. The NS symbol 957, with pilot engineer Treaster making sure everyone listening to the airwaves knew the NKP 765 was coming, is seen rolling past the Pennsylvania Railroad position light signals at Thompsontown, PA with the cool morning air allowing the 2-8-4 to put on a good show.
