Remarks & Notes
After the L&N rebuilt famous W&A 4-4-0 No. 3, "The General," they proudly ran it over a portion of its railroad with refurbished "Jim Crow" combine car 665. After visiting end of the line at Norton, the train backed to Appalachia, turned on a wye and then headed to Pennington, Va. on Aug. 17, 1962.
