Remarks & Notes
Cogwheel steamlocomotive H 2/3 # 5, built by SLM Winterthur in 1891 for the Wengernalpbahn (WAB) and climbing up the Brienzer Rothorn for the BRB since 1912, is shoving car B1 on the grade of 25.0 % between Planalp and Oberstaffel towards the summit. The locomotive is decorated with a swiss flag, because it's national day today! The train is named the "Würschtlibummler", the slow train with brake at Planalp for eating the sausages, which were boiled in the locomotive boiler water!

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
