Remarks & Notes
An Amtrak heritage unit is second out as a massively late eastbound Empire Builder rolls into Grand Forks. The train will pull onto main 1, facing into town, before backing out and entering the station, in order to meet the westbound train, which itself is over two hours late.

The wide open spaces of the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma have little service - one train for the entire state. South Dakota has none.
