Salt Lake City nocturne
Amtrak’s California Zephyr sits at the former Rio Grande Salt Lake City station on the night of March 1, 1994. Barely visible between the station and F40PH No. 259 is the westbound Pioneer, also waiting for departure time. This depot is no longer used for passenger trains and the area has changed quite a bit (what’s new, I guess). The tracks are completely gone, replaced with the pavement of S 500W.
