With the rugged Wasatch Mountains in the background, a Rio Grande SW1000 works the east end of Roper Yard in South Salt Lake. The 148 was part of a 10 unit order from EMD, delivered between 1966-1968. The 148 would be sold to Progress Rail Services in Albertville, Alabama by May 1995.
