| One day ahead of the steam season’s scheduled start-up (how’s that for a bit of alliteration) old Number 2 leads the Portage Flyer home from Fairy Lake on its last run of a perfect summer day! Engineer Greg has just let off of the whistle and Fireman Wayne (aka W.D.) Shaw has let the usually clean fire get dirty for my shot while Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway Society President Dave Topps stands in the weeds behind the train after getting his shots. |
