Amtrak's southbound Vermonter train #57 is seen on a rare late afternoon run over the Sugar River Trestle in Claremont, NH on June 16, after the previous day's northbound train was disrupted by 5 hours from a heat kink north of Brattleboro, VT. The Amtrak 207 is ahead of one of two cab cars that happened to be on the Vermonter this day - the Amtrak 9655 - and is seen after a large cloud opened up just as the train arrived, leaving much of the background in shade.
